Information
We've
spent the last 38 years in the business of sending young
people over the big pond for a summer of fun, sun, kids
and camp - so trust us …we know a thing or two about this
- we've been doing it a long time! We pride ourselves on
staying ahead of the pack - our most recent iniatives include
a brand spanking new on-line application system which allows
over 900 camps access to your application 24/7 and we introduced
a ground-breaking system of basing the after camp payment
you get on the skills and experience you have.
The
Camp America programme is designed to give you the best
of both worlds - work and play. Following your camp/resort
placement you'll have up to 2 months to explore the USA
and enjoy all the fun, excitement and adventure there is
to discover there.
Camp
America is offering fantastic placement opportunities this
summer instructing a wide range of activities including
Tennis, Archery Climbing/ropes, Waterfront, Science and
Technology, Crafts, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, Pioneering,
Nature, Performing Arts, and Music Activites!
You
do not need to be an Olympic athlete of even a certified
teacher we just ask that you have a solid knowledge of your
skill, have some experience working with groups of children
and be confident enough to teach or assist in teaching.
Whilst offering a wide variety of roles we also reward applicants
for their experience and qualifications.
Camp
America is the only camp counsellor organisation that pays
participants according to their skills and offers you the
opportunity to further your skills even before you head
to camp. By applying to our programme you will have the
opportunity to travel, live and work in a completely different
environment, make new friends, develop your skills and most
importantly, have a fun summer!
The
experience makes for a strong CV builder and, incorporated
with the opportunity to explore another continent and the
24-hour support from our experienced team, we believe you'll
have the summer of a lifetime!

information about what life at camp is like. You'll meet
staff from our office as well as some of our interviewers
and ex-participants. You'll also catch a presentation of
our video and who knows? Maybe some US candy too!

Days
Following
our Roadshows, we usually host Interview Days. These give
you an opportunity to come along and be interviewed for
the programme on the day - all you need to do is call our
office, book your appointment, gather together your references
& first payment and show up on the day ready to bowl your
interviewer over with your skills, experience and enthusiasm!

Fairs
These
are the Mack-daddies of all Camp America events! Once a
year we go all out to give you the opportunity to meet hundreds
of Camp Directors from the States and decide for yourself
where you'd like to spend the summer. All you need to do
to attend is complete your online application form, select
the event of your choice, make your first payment and prepare
to show off some serious skillz!
Orientations
Camp
America's guidance does not end when you're placed in fact
it is just the beginning. We hold orientations to assist
you in your upcoming summer work in the USA. We will guide
you through your flights process, where we will be at the
airport to make sure your heading in the right direction.
You can meet others that are going to camp and share their
excitement and nerves as well as meeting new friends for
the summer ahead. We will tell you what to expect, inform
you and your family of all your insurance guidelines and
generally make you feel confident and safe in your upcoming
summer adventure.
